上海外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)海外合作學(xué)院簡(jiǎn)介

上海外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)海外合作學(xué)院是上海外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)主要負(fù)責(zé)國(guó)際教育合作項(xiàng)目的二級(jí)學(xué)院，成立于1999年。學(xué)院現(xiàn)承擔(dān)上海外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)同新西蘭、美國(guó)、加拿大、英國(guó)、澳大利亞、西班牙、日本、意大利、德國(guó)、韓國(guó)等國(guó)知名院校的教育合作項(xiàng)目。學(xué)院采用先進(jìn)的教學(xué)理念、方法和手段，致力于培養(yǎng)高素質(zhì)應(yīng)用型外語(yǔ)人才。

學(xué)院依托上海外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)優(yōu)質(zhì)資源，由上海外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)外語(yǔ)教學(xué)專家專門設(shè)計(jì)語(yǔ)言培訓(xùn)課程。學(xué)院師資均來(lái)自上海外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)，具有豐富的外語(yǔ)教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。學(xué)院針對(duì)留學(xué)對(duì)象國(guó)的不同要求，開設(shè)各類課程，對(duì)學(xué)生實(shí)行英語(yǔ)強(qiáng)化訓(xùn)練，同時(shí)開設(shè)各門專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)培訓(xùn)課程。

學(xué)生在各項(xiàng)目學(xué)習(xí)一至二年，主要進(jìn)行外語(yǔ)強(qiáng)化訓(xùn)練和部分專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)培訓(xùn)課程的學(xué)習(xí)。學(xué)完規(guī)定課程、通過(guò)相關(guān)考核并符合簽證條件者，學(xué)院將向外方大學(xué)推薦。符合條件者升入國(guó)外大學(xué)繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)。學(xué)生修滿規(guī)定學(xué)分，可獲得對(duì)方大學(xué)相應(yīng)的學(xué)士、碩士學(xué)位證書。

學(xué)院注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)新能力、人際溝通能力和獨(dú)立、自律能力。學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)期間參與各類校園文體活動(dòng)，充分融入大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)氛圍。

中國(guó)留學(xué)服務(wù)中心—上海外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)出國(guó)留學(xué)培訓(xùn)基地

出國(guó)留學(xué)培訓(xùn)基地設(shè)在海外合作學(xué)院，是由教育部（中國(guó)）留學(xué)服務(wù)中心和上海外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)共建，為有志于出國(guó)深造的學(xué)生提供優(yōu)質(zhì)國(guó)外留學(xué)資源和專業(yè)的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境，是中留服首家也是華東地區(qū)唯一出國(guó)留學(xué)培訓(xùn)基地。留學(xué)培訓(xùn)基地提供新西蘭、美國(guó)、加拿大、英國(guó)和澳大利亞等國(guó)眾多高校資源，并向?qū)W生提供英語(yǔ)強(qiáng)化訓(xùn)練和部分專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)培訓(xùn)課程。同時(shí)，基地配備了專職輔導(dǎo)員，關(guān)心學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)與生活。在教學(xué)安排中引入競(jìng)爭(zhēng)機(jī)制并設(shè)置了一定的淘汰率。此外，基地根據(jù)學(xué)生個(gè)體的人生和職業(yè)規(guī)劃，提供專門咨詢服務(wù)，以協(xié)助學(xué)生選擇最佳留學(xué)方案。

The College for International Cooperative Programs

Shanghai International Studies University

The College for International Cooperative Programs (CICP), Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), undertakes joint international education programs. Established in 1999, the CICP runs joint foundation programs, chiefly in the fields of business, social science and art study, with a number of well-known institutions of higher education in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, etc. These programs, featuring jointly-designed curricula, up-to-date course content, high-quality teaching, and effective management, aim at equipping students with essential learning abilities with a schooling of up to two years at SISU, mainly in the domain of foreign-language education and subject-specific academic courses. Upon the completion of the programs at SISU with required qualifications, and having met the visa requisites, the students will, as scheduled, move on to the target programs at the overseas partner universities. The students will be conferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees after they have achieved the credits required by the respective target universities.
The CICP attaches great importance to the development of the students’ innovation and communication abilities, and is dedicated to nurturing the spirits of independence and self-discipline. Immersed in rich academic atmosphere on campus, students are also encouraged to take part in a variety of sports and cultural activities, the purpose of which is to get them well prepared both academically and socially. Over the years, approximately 2000 students of the CICP’s various foundation programs have successfully progressed to partner universities abroad with favourable recognition. Most of these students have completed their degree programs, and are well received in the chosen professions for their adequate knowledge and excellent performance.

The CICP’s SISU-CSCSE Overseas Training Centre is an establishment of foundation programs, featuring international education; it is jointly supervised by the Chinese Service Centre for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) affiliated to the Ministry of Education of China. The Centre, the first of its kind in China and the only one in East China, runs joint programs with notable institutions of higher education in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, etc. The Centre is dedicated to providing the students with a humanistic and holistic education that promotes global and innovative thinking, thus making constructive use of their academic knowledge and developing skills for proficient and well-balanced cross-cultural communication. Students are expected to meet the academic requirements jointly stipulated by SISU, the CSCSE, and partner universities; those who fail to meet the requirements will not proceed to the target overseas degree programs. In addition to the professional team of distinguished teachers, the Centre is also staffed with a sufficient number of dedicated tutors and program coordinators. On top of the academic considerations, the Centre offers specialized consulting service to guide the students in their career development.
